6 Years In-House UX Design
My work has consisted of working on a team that advocates clarity, UX strategy for renovating existing experiences and building new ones and design system advocacy. I enjoy understanding business objectives and goals and contributing to build better products for our users.
6 Years Freelance Visual Design
During college, I had the opportunity to freelance and I enjoyed understanding the principles of design, and what makes products beautiful. I enjoyed meeting with people, hearing their stories and how to help enable their goals.
10+ Trips of Quantitative & Qualitative Research Sessions in the Field
Trips featuring generative and evaluative UX research with real users to get real insights.
UX Research |
With over 10 trips into the field capturing both generative and evaluative research, I connect with users to understand their truth and how our plans will change and affect them going forward. I have completed many time studies, user interviews and heuristic documentation sessions to capture both quantitative and qualitative research. After being out in the field, information is stored in a repository where it can be synthesized and referenced, or tied back to business value.

UX Storytelling |
While being on many corporate projects, I have had many opportunities to refine my storytelling skills and bridge key findings from UX research to product teams and management alike. When stakeholders and project partners fully understand UX research and the story, more buy-in is received and the project gets more resourcing. Methodologies include numerous clean slide decks, and many meetings with executives with clear agendas.

UX Design |
With a background in formal visual design from the Hartford Art School, I have a clear understanding of how to organize information in a way that upkeeps a brand, remains professional, and communicates ideas clearly while reducing cognitive load. This includes Visual Design, UX Wireframing/Prototyping and Design Systems/Atomic Design.
